Quality Concrete concrete work in Huntsville, AL

Not every problem with your concrete needs a tear-out. We repair cracks, level sinking slabs, resurface tired patios, and replace individual damaged sections across our service area. The owner looks at the whole picture and tells you whether to repair or replace, with the honest math on both options.

How it works

What a Concrete Repair project includes

  1. Damage assessment + diagnosis

Crack, sink, spall, or stain, we identify the root cause first. Settling, freeze-thaw, or installation defect. The fix depends on the cause.

  2. Quote on repair vs replace

Sometimes a section repair is the right call. Sometimes you need a full tear-out. We tell you straight which one your project needs and what each option costs.

  3. Saw-cut + remove damaged section

Clean cut to a control joint or expansion joint. Square edges, no jagged tear-out. The patch only looks clean if the cut is clean.

  4. Sub-base re-prep

If the original failed because of subgrade, we fix the subgrade. Otherwise the repair lasts a season and fails again. Diagnosis first, then repair.

  5. Pour + match finish

New section poured to match existing color and texture as closely as concrete allows. Brand-new concrete next to weathered concrete will always look different for the first 6-12 months.

  6. Cure + warranty

Full cure before traffic. 2-year warranty on repair workmanship. If the repair fails because of our installation, we redo it on our dollar.

Why it matters

What separates a concrete repair job that lasts from one that does not.

Fixing the symptom does not fix the cause

A crack you fill without diagnosing the cause will come back. We fix the cause first (settling subgrade, drainage, etc.) then patch the surface.

Section repairs cost a fraction of replacement

A 6x10 section of a driveway: $800-$2,000 to repair. The same driveway replaced: $8,000-$12,000. If only one section is damaged, repair makes sense.

A settled slab is a base problem

When a patio or sidewalk sinks, the ground under it moved. We work out why it moved before anything goes back on top, because a slab reset over the same soft base settles again.

What drives the price on a concrete repair project

  • Severity and area of damage
  • Crack repair vs section replacement vs full resurfacing
  • Sub-base condition under the damaged area
  • Whether the root cause is settling, freeze-thaw, or installation
  • Color match requirements (basic vs careful)

Questions

Questions Huntsville homeowners ask about concrete repair.

Should I repair or replace?
Depends on the damage. If less than 25% of the slab is affected and the rest is sound, repair. If the slab is failing in multiple places or the sub-base is shot, replace. We look at it and tell you which one we would do if it were our home.
How much does concrete repair cost?
Section replacement: $1,500 to $5,000. Full resurfacing of a patio: $3,000 to $6,000. Smaller leveling and patch work starts around $300. We quote after the site visit.
Will the repair patch be visible?
For the first 6-12 months, yes. New concrete is lighter than weathered. After a year of weathering, the difference narrows. Exact matches are not possible with concrete.
Do you offer slab-jacking or leveling?
Yes for residential sidewalks, patios, and small slabs. For driveways, we usually recommend section replacement instead because leveling rarely lasts on heavy-load slabs.

What moves the price up or down

  • Square footage

Roughly $4 to $5 per square foot for flatwork. We measure it on site during the estimate rather than guessing from the driveway.

  • Sub-base condition

A slab over a sound, compacted base costs less than one needing excavation, fill and recompaction.

  • Finish

Broom is the base. Smooth-trowel, exposed aggregate, stamped or stained each add labour and material.

  • Access

If the truck cannot reach the pour, concrete gets moved by buggy or pump, and that is time.

  • Tear-out

Removing and hauling an existing slab is its own line, priced by thickness and reinforcement.

Flatwork runs roughly $4 to $5 per square foot. Square footage is measured and evaluated during the estimate, and the final number comes to you in writing after a free on-site visit.

  • I had a great experience with this concrete company from start to finish. They were professional, on time, and very easy to communicate with throughout the entire project. The crew paid attention to detail and made sure everything was done right the first time. The quality of the work really stands out — the finish is smooth, clean, and exactly what I was looking for. They also kept the job site neat and completed the work within the timeframe they promised. If you’re looking for reliable and high-quality concrete work, I definitely recommend them. I would not hesitate to hire them again for future projects.
